ADVOCACY

While the numbers are staggering and there is still so much work left to do, there is hope.  Leadership Inc., was founded in 2020 because we recognized there weren’t many organizations that were focused on equity and equity centered services for those identifying as BIPOC.

Through our Resource Center, Trusted Network of experts, partnered Apps, blogs,  Leadership Inc., actively works to empower parents, teachers, and caregivers with the tools, resources, knowledge, and positive parenting support to advocate on childhood adversity at the source, break generational traumas, and build brighter futures for our youth.

Leadership Inc, will guide you through a series of tools and resources to remind Parents, Caregivers, and Teachers that:

  • You are so much more than your Adversity and Traumas.
  • You are worthy of healthy friendships, relationships, and community.
  • You and your inner-child are worthy of healing from your abuse and traumas.
  • You can reclaim your power and break generational cycles of abuse and trauma.
  • You are a good parent/caregiver/teacher, exactly as you are, at this moment.

POSITIVE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (PCES)

Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs) stem from safe, stable, nurturing relationships and environments, and have the power to prevent or protect children from traumatic events.

POSITIVE PARENTING

POSITIVE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (PCES)

POSITIVE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (PCES)

Parents are the number one role model in their kid’s life. When children are nurtured and positively guided through childhood they thrive and grow into happy, healthy, and productive adults.

ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES

POSITIVE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (PCES)

ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events that happen during childhood. What happens during childhood shapes who kids become as adults.

CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH

POSITIVE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (PCES)

ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES

Being mentally healthy during childhood means reaching developmental and emotional milestones, learning healthy social skills and how to cope when there are problems.
